In 2014, Teleo Design was engaged to detail the steel framing for the new Lift Shaft to access the Stargazer Lawn from the Cutaway at the Barangaroo Reserve Sydney. This was part of the Foreshore development converting the unused container terminal into public land and new office and Casino buildings.

 

Teleo worked with the fabricators to detail the complex framing for glass cladding and lift equipment. The structure was fitted into the landscape with access to the Cutaway exhibition area below. The views from the Stargazer Lawns include the Darling Harbour.

 

Teleo Design detailed the framing for the access doors into the Cutaway. The Cutaway is a large concrete void made into a cultural venue. It includes a botanical garden and is used as a venue for formal events.
